Aqua and Coral Fabrics for Your Room

Problem: You want to mix two colors in a room that are unrelated.

Example: The drapery is a beautiful aqua color and the trim is a complete opposite in a coral. Trimming drapes in a non related color adds a pop to the room. Then add a print fabric with the coral as the main color like you see on this chair. Add other solids and mini prints related to the two colors to finish the room.

Drapery: Rohu Lattice in Aqua - A viscose/poly blend that is perfect for draperies with the medium repeat. Comes in four colorways.
Trim: Winnowing in Coral - A 1.5" border tape that comes in 27 colorways.
Cushion: Fetra in Coral - A cotton/poly woven floral with medium repeat. Comes in three colorways.
All fabrics by Fabricut, to the trade.

  1. Great tips here! It's good for people to go over the basics of interior design - it's great for people who're just learning, or pros who need to refresh on the basics. Thanks for sharing!
