These are not your grandmas braided rugs! As early as the 1970's, Capel Rugs began crafting concentric braids. During the last several years, the concentric is making a new revival. The above is primarily of wool and cotton and was constructed for the Bob Timberlake Collection. This rug is rustic and variegated in colors that inspire coastal and mountain living. Above is the Beachcomber that comes in five colorways. Shown is the marsh green but can also be ordered in shell bed, sand dollar, ocean blue and dune ridge. Check out the website of Capel Rugs to view the colors and sizes.

Capel Rugs is a family-owned business that is now celebrating their 90th anniversary. They have become America's largest privately owned rug manufacturer and importer. I guess you could say that they know rugs! They display a range of services and products that you will not find with any other rug company. With 10,000 different options, same day shipping and online ordering, they are one of the best companies for designers and clients. Feel free to check their website: Shown above is one of my favorite patterns, Babylon. This is the Kirman style and comes in three colorways: Azure/Blue, Red and Black (not shown). These rich Persian designs are made in India of New Zealand wool with a rich patina and short brush fringe. Up to 30 different colors are used in these patterns. Several stock sizes are available and custom sizes up to 15' x 20' can be ordered. Thank you Capel for being one of my favorite suppliers!
